Piper PA-24 Comanche
Our latest update and restoration project is available to buy soon.
Our latest project, is a PA-24-250 Comanche. Originally built in 1960, this classic aircraft benefits from a 0-timed Lycoming O-540-A1D5 engine. This flat six power plant provides incredible power, making the Comanche a beautiful aircraft to both fly and be flown in.
We believe restoring and upgrading existing aircraft is environmentally friendly and cost-effective. Our expert engineers have spent many months inspecting, testing, restoring and updating this aircraft.
The exterior features a brand-new paint job in striking red, white and black, while the interior features all-new Garmin avionics, a digital autopilot and a bespoke panel to house the state-of-the-art equipment.
Aerofab Restorations is the south's leading Garmin sales and installation centre and has fitted This Comanche with an enviable set of avionics, which brings the 64-year-old aeroplane completely up to date.
Some of the new kit fitted includes:
Garmin GI275 (standby AI). Garmin G500TXi 10.6" Landscape (PFD). Garmin GTN750Xi Nav/com. Garmin TXi EIS 7" Portrait (engine monitor). GFC500 Digital Autopilot.
