G-ARMN is a Cessna C175 Skylark, which is currently having a complete bare-metal rebuild under the supervision of Aerofab Restoration's expert team of engineers and sheet metal fabricators. 

The aircraft came to Aerofab in August 2023 as an excellent restoration and upgrade project. The Skylark will undergo the most rigorous tests and inspections by our certified aviation engineers, before having a complete re-paint and avionics upgrade. This C175 benefits from the Lycoming STC modification, which replaces the original geared engine with an O-360-A1A unit. 

Aerofab is an approved Garmin Avionics sales and service centre, so the unique registration G-ARMN will make this, the perfect avionics demonstrator when the works are completed and the aeroplane is ready for the summer of 2024.

Aerofab's head-honcho Ben Faulkner plans to use the aircraft to show off the incredible Garmin Avionics technology, including the latest auto-pilots, navigation and communication systems and pilot display units. 

The aircraft has been completely stripped of paint to allow a full and detailed inspection of the entire aircraft structure for damage or corrosion.
