Aerofab Restorations, the UK's award-winning, leading aircraft renovation company are currently rebuilding a Cessna 175 Skylark. This beautiful aircraft is soon to become the finest example of its type, carefully restored and furnished with the very latest Garmin avionics technology.

Following a total bare metal strip down and attentive inspection, the aircraft has spent the last few weeks at our local aircraft paint shop, also based at Thruxton Aerodrome. 

The results, as you can see look amazing and match the designs we showed previously (see the planning stages here). 

The work now really begins. We're fitting the aircraft with the most advanced set of Garmin avionics to date. We'll reveal the complete kit list soon, but needless to say, the aircraft will be the most advanced Garmin demonstrator in the UK and will be used both to show how the avionics could work for you and to train users how to get the most out of their systems.

We'll be bringing the aircraft to airshows, fly-ins and more as summer approaches.
