Aerofab Restorations, the south's leading Garmin Avionics dealer and service centre, based at Thruxton Aerodrome, recently completed a full upgrade of a 1966 PA32 Cherokee Six. 

With a custom dashboard and a full suite of Garmin Avionics, this joy-to-fly aircraft has been brought right up to date with the latest technology, including;

Garmin G3x 

Garmin G5 (Configured as AI)

Garmin GTN750xi (with Flight stream 510)

Garmin GFC500 

The package, which added to the existing avionics also features a Garmin Aera 660, a hand-held navigation aid and an iPad doc, for either Garmin's Pilot App, or SkyDemon. 

Complete engine monitoring and performance is displayed on the G3x PFD along with essential radio and navigational information.

The Flight stream 510 SD Card, adds wireless connectivity to the system, allowing flight plans to be sent from the Garmin (or SkyDemon) applications directly to the GTN750xi navigation unit.
